We are a small farm located in central Pennsylvania about 10 miles East of State College  We have been raising goats for over thirty years, starting with backyard pets and then moving on to registered purebred Nubians.

 

Our first two foundation does were Long Shadow's Adar, a H Homestead Sun Tiara Granddaughter, and Long Shadow's Krystal (who went back to the Winterberry Herd). Our first purebred buck was Lothlorien's Levi's Majestic, a combination of Cold Comfort and Flora Farm Bellmaster. We bred Krystal to Majestic and were blessed with, what would become our first two homegrown permanent champions and LA EX 90s, CH Dancers-Ridge Sapphire and +B GCH Dancers-Ridge Shalimar. We bred Adar to Shalimar and got our pride and joy, SGCH Dancers-Ridge Southern Belle *M LA EX90. Our herd is tightly linebred on these foundation animals to ensure the breed standards and consistency that we strive for.

 

Our entire herd is tested annually and is CAE and CL negative. Even though we have had a negative herd test for ten consecutive years, we still raise all pre-ordered kids on heat treated colostrum and pasteurized milk to insure their health.

 

If you would like to purchase a kid from our herd, a deposit of $100.00 will reserve a kid from the breeding of your choice. You will be notified immediately after your kid is born and the balance will be due within 14 days after notification of birth. If the balance has not been paid within 14 days, your deposit will be forfeited and the kid will be offered to the next person on our list. Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids only. If your choice is not born and you do not wish to choose a kid from another doe, we will refund your deposit. There will be no refunds on canceled orders.

 

Testing expenses, health certificates and shipping fees (including the crate price) are all the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping is out of Harrisburg International Airport.
